Remove/install track rod and replacement of rubber mount - AR35.20-P-0112V
| Danger! | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. |
| 1 | Raise vehicle with lifting platform | |
| 2 | Remove wheel. Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary | |
| 3 | Detach tie rod (4) from wheel carrier | Do not damage the tie rod rubber boot. Installation: Clean grease off the ball head bolt as well as beveled seat in the wheel carrier. Press ball head bolt firmly into the cone and if necessary hold securely using an Allen wrench. |
| 4 | Mark eccentric disk of tie rod (4) relative to the rear axle carrier (arrow) | |
| 5 | Detach tie rod (4) from rear axle carrier | |
| 6 | Check rubber mount (4b) for damage, replace rubber mount (4b) if necessary | AR35.20-P-0112-01P Extraction and insertion tool: 203589014300 |
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | |
| 8 | Perform a wheel alignment check |
| Self-locking nut, track rod to rear axle carrier | 70 Mn | |
| Self-locking nut, tie rod at wheel carrier | yellow M10 x1 | 30 Nm |
| silver or blue M10 x1 | 25 Nm | |
| silver or blue M10 1.5 | Stage 1 - 20 Nm | |
| Stage 2 - 45 Degrees |
