Function prerequisites:

Pressing the left reading lamp switch (N70s6) or the right reading lamp switch (N70s7) in the overhead control panel control unit (N70) switches the left reading lamp (N70e2) or the right reading lamp (N70e3) on and off in an undimmed state. The left reading lamp (N70e2) and the right reading lamp (N70e3) are switched off automatically 30 minutes after "Circuit 15 OFF".

All vehicles, except those with code (876) interior lighting package, have a left reading lamp (N70e2) and a right reading lamp (N70e3). They are integrated in the overhead control panel control unit (N70). The left reading lamp (A67e1) and the right reading lamp (A67e2) in the inside rearview mirror unit (A67) are available by ordering the appropriate code (876).
