Rear fog lamp actuation, function - GF82.10-P-3007SK
MODEL 171.4
Function requirements:
- Circuit 30 ON
- Standing lamps "ON"
- Exterior lamp switch (S1) in front fog lamp position
The actuation of the exterior lamp switch (S1) is read in by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via a discrete line. It actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
- Left fog lamp (E5/1)
- Right fog lamp (E5/2)
The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the front fog lamps indicator lamp (S1e1) and the rear fog lamp indicator lamp (S1e2) in the exterior lamp switch (S1). The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) transmits the "rear fog lamps ON" message to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the Controller Area Network Bus Class B (interior) (CAN-B). The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
- Left rear fog lamp (E3e5) (left-hand drive vehicle)
- Right rear fog lamp (E4e5) (right-hand drive vehicle)
