S4 Combination switch
Task The combination switch serves the following functions: Flash on and off - One-touch turn signaling - Main and low beams - Headlight flasher - Windshield wiper - Windshield washer system
Activation of the individual functions: Flashing The turn signal can be activated by pressing the combination switch beyond the detent point upward for the right side and downward for the left side.
- One-touch turn signaling One-touch turn signaling is activated by briefly pressing the combination switch upward for the right side and downward for the left side as far as the detent point. The turn signal flashes 3 times.
- Low beams and high beams take place by pulling the combination switch back to the zero position.
- Headlamp flasher The headlamp flasher is activated for as long as the combination switch is pulled to the rear.
- Wipers The wipers are switched on by turning the front part of the combination switch. Position "1" activates intermittent wipe. Position "2" activates the continuous wipe at low speed. Position "3" activates continuous wiping at a high speed.
- Windshield washer system The windshield washer system is switched on by pulling the combination switch in an axial direction. A brief operation in the axial direction activates touch wiping.
