Antenna amplifier module, function - GF82.62-P-3105-04SK

Filtering and amplifying radio frequency signals

Electric filters in the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) select the desired frequency bands from the radio frequency signals coming from the rod antenna (A28).Depending on the country, these filters are designed differently, as the transmission frequencies depend on the country. The filtered frequency bands are then amplified selectively and relayed via coaxial cables to the corresponding control modules (e.g. Audio gateway control module (N93/1)).

Demodulation of radio remote central locking signals

The signals for central locking (CL) are demodulated by the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) and digitized. The data edited in this manner is transmitted to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and there stored on the controller area network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B).

IMPORTANT During demodulation the useful signal (e.g. the radio remote central locking signal) is separated from the radio frequency carrier frequency (transmit frequency).
