Replace electrical lines - AF91.60-P-8062-01A

REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR Repair wiring harness using solder connectors   AR00.19-P-0100-09A
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR Remove contacts from Micro Quadlock System coupling   AR00.19-P-0120-04A

  1. Disconnect electrical lines at height of cable end sleeve (1)

    IMPORTANT For this purpose, slide flexible cable harness jacketing back and fasten.

    IMPORTANT During repair, replace electrical lines in pin 4 (yellow), pin 11 (brown/yellow) individually and end with pin 12 (blue)

  2. Unpin electrical line from coupling (3) and replace with repair line
  3. Adapt length of repair line to separated line and leave extension of approx. 15 to 20 mm.
  4. Slide solder connector onto repair line.

    IMPORTANT Slide solder connector with narrow opening onto electrical lines

  5. Strip insulation approx. 15 mm off of electrical lines.
  6. Twist leads of both wire ends with each other.
  7. Position solder connection in center and shrink with heat gun (solder)
  8. Check solder connections.
  9. Wrap solder connector with PVC adhesive tape and ensure that solder connectors are at same height!
  10. Slide wiring harness jacketing forward and wrap ends with fabric tape up to approx. 30 mm in front of coupling (3)

IMPORTANTInstallation: 

Proper arrest of coupling (3) on bracket Jacket tube

IMPORTANT Send connectors cut off in for analysis, specifying vehicle data, vehicle ident. number and DTC to the following address:
