Design 

The ABC lateral acceleration pickup is located in the front passenger footwell on the front cross strut.

Task/function 

Using the ABC lateral acceleration pickup, the ABC control unit (N51/2) measures the lateral dynamics and lateral acceleration which is acting on the vehicle. This produces a disturbance signal insertion for roll angle compensation..
