Remove/install loudspeaker amplifier control unit - AR82.62-P-7720R

MODEL 230.4 up to 14.1.04 with CODE (810) Sound system 

MODEL 230.4 as of 29.1.08

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1 Transfer basic data of sound amplifier A2/13) or amplifier for sound system (N40/3) to Star Diagnosis When replacing the sound amplifier (A2/13) or the amplifier for sound system (N40/3).
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Transfer basic data from Star Diagnosis to sound amplifier (A2/13) or amplifier for sound system (N40/3).
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Remove left-hand luggage box in rear IMPORTANT Place luggage box with lines connected to one side. AR68.30-P-7440R
3 Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove Keyless-Go chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (at least 2 m).  
4 Unscrew nuts (1).    
5 Pull out sound amplifier (A2/13) or amplifier for sound system (N40/3) until electrical connectors (3) and fiber optic cable connector (2) are accessible    
6 Disconnect electrical connector (3) from sound amplifier (A2/13) or amplifier for sound system (N40/3) On vehicles up to 14.1.04, unlock electrical connector (3) at sound amplifier (A2/13) before disconnecting (arrow).  
7 Unplug fiber optic cable connector (2) NOTES To avoid damaging the fiber optic cable, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
8 Cover fiber optic cable connector (2) and AR82.95-P-0005-01A equipment connector at sound amplifier (A2/13) or amplifier for sound system (N40/3)   AR82.95-P-0005-01A 
9 Install in the reverse order
