	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Temporarily store basic data of the overhead control panel control unit (N70) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing overhead control panel control unit (N70). Installation:  Transfer staged basic data to new overhead control panel control unit (N70).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit
3	Open spectacles compartment (1) and undo screws (2)
4	Swivel overhead control panel control unit (N70) downwards until the electrical connectors (3) are accessible	The number of electrical connectors (3) differs depending on the vehicle equipment.
5	Unplug electrical connectors (3) and remove overhead control panel control unit (N70)
6.1	Remove cover for inside rearview mirror from overhead control panel control unit (N70)	When replacing overhead control panel control unit (N70).
7	Install in the reverse order
