Install welding device - AR62.20-P-1286-05SY

Prepare welding device 

IMPORTANT The following steps are shown on the left welding device and must be accomplished analogously on the right welding device.

  1. Install spacer sleeves (1 e) in base plate (1) and screw tight with bolts (1f).

    IMPORTANT On vehicles with code Z07 Top protection, use spacer sleeves (1e) instead of SPECIAL TOOL uprights.

  2. Insert fitted bolt (1q) into front top longitudinal member extension (1b) in direction of arrow.
  3. Slide fitted bolt retainer (1 r) onto front top longitudinal member extension (1 b) and fitted bolts (1 q).
  4. Tighten upper front longitudinal member extension (1 b) to base plate (1) with bolt (1j).
  5. Tighten upper rear longitudinal member extension (1 a) to base plate (1) with bolt (1h)

    Install welding device 

    IMPORTANT The following operation steps are shown on model 221 on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

  6. Install bottom reinforcement link rod (1 c) and fasten with bolt (1 k) to front top longitudinal member extension (1 b).

  7. Tighten upper front longitudinal member extension (1 d) to bottom reinforcement link rod (1c) with bolt (1s).
  8. Tighten upper front longitudinal member extension (1 d) to upper front longitudinal member with fitted bolt (1m)
  9. Tighten upper rear longitudinal member extension (1 a) to upper longitudinal member with bolt (1 i).
  10. Screw tight fitted bolt (1 q) to front top longitudinal member extension (1 b) with bolt (1 o) and shim (1 p).
  11. Screw in fitted bolts (1 g) into spacer sleeves (1 e) from below.
