2	Remove striker wedge (2) at bottom of rear door (1)
3	Remove locking eye (4)	Mark installation position of locking eye (4), to facilitate reinstallation.
4	Support rear door (1) with floor jack and suitable block of wood, position below mounting location of striker wedge (2)	Do not support rear door (1) on outer paneling, otherwise, the rear door (1) can be damaged by its high dead weight. 5	Loosen bolts (5) on B-pillar and adjust corresponding gap dimensions by moving rear door (1).	Adjust gap dimensions at rear door (1) by lifting or lowering floor jack.	AR60.00-P-0700-01SX *BE60.00-P-1002-01R

7	Loosen bolts (6) on rear door and adjust transition of front door to rear door (1) by moving rear door (1).	The contour of the front door must be flush with the contour of the rear door (1) or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
8	Tighten bolts (6)		*BA72.12-P-1017-01N
9	Insert locking eye (4) and screw in bolts (3) up to stop	It still should be possible to adjust the locking eye (4).
10	Adjust transition between rear door (1), rear fender and roof paneling by moving locking eye (4).	The contour of the rear door (1) must be flush with the contours of the rear fender and roof paneling or project by a maximum of 1 mm
11	Tighten screws (3)		*BA72.12-P-1020-01N
12	Repair paint damage to screw heads with suitable touch-up paint pen
13	Install striker wedge (2)	Only tighten bolts on striker wedge (2) hand-tight.
14	Coat oval head screw (7) with grease	Multipurpose grease	*BR00.45-Z-1034-06A
15	Carefully close and open rear door (1) and determine on basis of grease impression on oval head screw (7), whether height of striker wedge (2) requires correction by inserting shims. If the rear door (1) is hard to close or cannot be closed at all, correct the height of the striker wedge (2) by removing shims	The rear door (1) is supported on the oval head screws (7) by the striker wedge (2) so that its entire dead weight is not on the locking eye (4). The rear door (1) should be easy to close.
16	Tighten bolts on striker wedge (2)		*BA72.12-P-1025-01N
