	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove headliner and put down on seats	Do not disconnect electrical wiring harness of headliner.
		Model 216	AR68.30-P-4300SC
		Model 221	AR68.30-P-4300SX
2	Connect ground line to starter battery and to on-board electrical system battery		AR54.10-P-0003SX
3	Disconnect connector from left rear windowbag squib (R12/22) or right rear windowbag squib (R12/23)	Connector must be heard to engage when being plugged in.
4	Unscrew nuts (2)		*BA91.60-P-1002-01L
5.1	Remove electrical line (3) from ground (heated rear window)	In model 221, when removing left windowbag unit (1).
6.1	Disconnect electrical connector (7)	In model 221, when removing right windowbag unit (1).
7.1	Remove bracket (4)	in case of model 221
8	Unscrew nut (5)		*BA91.60-P-1003-01L
9.1	Remove bracket (8)	With model 216
10	Remove bolts (6)		*BA91.60-P-1011-01L
11	Remove windowbag unit (1)	Remove windowbag unit (1) with care so that the interior equipment is not damaged. If a new windowbag unit (1) is being installed, the defective windowbag unit (1) must be properly disposed of. Refer to: ↓

12	Install in the reverse order
13.1	Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) with STAR DIAGNOSIS	After installing new windowbag unit (1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
