Replace shock absorber mount on lower wishbone - AR32.25-P-0107RT

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected    
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts All models AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Lift vehicle with two-post lift IMPORTANT Raise vehicle far enough until the wheels are clear of the ground. AR00.60-P-1000RT
2.1 Deflate air spring using the STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system IMPORTANT Only on vehicles with Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and Adaptive Damping System ADS), code 489.
NOTES The wheels must not make any contact with the ground when filling as when filling in the jounce condition the air spring bellows in the spring element will be destroyed.
IMPORTANT Only deflate air springs, on which the shock absorber mounts are to be removed.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Before inflating the air springs start the engine and allow engine to run during inflation process.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure air suspension system does not leak.
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
3 Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889:
Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.
Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
 
4 Lift vehicle with two-post lift INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Lower vehicles far enough to enable the wheels to be easily accessible. AR00.60-P-1000RT
5 Support lower transverse control arm (4) using transmission jack Transmission jack  
6 Unscrew nut (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.20-P-1004-02L 
7 Pull out stabilizer bar link rod (2)    
8 Undo bolted connection (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.25-P-1001-03L 
9 Lower the lower wishbone (4) IMPORTANT Lower the transverse control arm (4) until the shock absorber mount (5) is accessible.  
10 To press out rubber bushing IMPORTANTRemoval:  For pressing out, use the spacer E (6) and front press-out sleeve A (7). Press out the rubber mounts to the rear.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT For pressing in, use the press-in sleeve C (8), the spacer E (6) and threaded ball (10). Press in the rubber mounts forwards. Use additional press-in block D (9) only on vehicles with steel spring
NOTES During installation the compression on the hand pump must not exceed 140 bar as otherwise the bearing may be damaged.

11 Install in the reverse order
