| 3 | Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit | Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m). |

| 6 | Carefully pull the air spring (3) downwards at its top plastic frame (arrows B), until the air spring (3) detaches from the retaining clip (1) | ||
| 7 | Carefully push the air spring (3) together upwards (arrow C), in the process press the air spring centering (4) from below out of the lower transverse control arm (6) | ||
| 8 | Remove air spring (3) downwards at an angle (arrow D) | ||

| 9 | Check air spring (3) and cover (2) for damage | ||
| Install | |||
| If the air spring (3) is not installed and filled in accordance with the regulations, it can be pre-damaged and fail later on | |||
| 10 | Mount cover (2) on the air spring (3) | ||
| 11 | Install new retaining clip (1) on the body | ||
| 12 | Insert air spring (3) | ||
