Garage door opener, function - GF68.05-P-0001GZ

Task 

With the garage door opener system various receivers for door opening and closing system can be activated.

The garage door opener system consists of:

These components are integrated in the inside rearview mirror unit. The indicator lamp is designed as a yellow LED.

Function 

If one of the buttons is actuated, the indicator lamp comes on and the signal associated with this memory location is transmitted and then activates the associated drive for the corresponding opening and closing system.

Programming 

Up to 3 remote controls can be learned in If more than one transmit button is pressed simultaneously, the transmit button with the lowest number is selected.

Function requirements: 

Procedure 

IMPORTANT In order to save the vehicle battery, the transmitter switches off automatically, if programming is not accomplished after approx. 100 seconds.

Erasing memory locations 

The memory locations are erased when the outer buttons 1 and 3 are pressed simultaneously for t > 20 s.

Feedback is accomplished by the indicator lamp flashing rapidly for the duration of 10 s. The existing data of the memory locations is erased. The garage door opener transmitter unit goes to the learnin mode when the transmitter buttons are pressed again.

Compatibility 

If the opening and closing system is not compatible with the garage door opener system, a universal receiver can be installed (e.g. in the garage) which reacts to the signals in the Standard mode.

The frequency range of the hardware is between 280 and 390 MHz.
