	Remove/install
	Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.	Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

1	Move wiper arms to end position
2	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".	On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off
3	Eliminate vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7)	Reduce vacuum by depressing the brake pedal several times.
4	Remove left cover below instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1500GZ
5	Remove securing clamp (1) and pull out pin (2).
6	Unscrew nuts (3) of BAS brake booster (A7/7)		*BA43.10-P-1001-01G
7	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000GZ
8	Detach rubber seal (4) in the area of the section, left partition wall (7)
9	Remove screw (5)
10	Unclip left partition wall section (7) from clips (6).
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
11	Remove wiper arms		AR82.30-P-6100GZ
12	Remove water deflector over wiper system		AR83.25-P-1406GZ
13	Disconnect release switch connector (8).
14	Disconnect BAS diaphragm travel sensor connector (9)
15	Remove wiper link rod (10).
16	Unscrew union nuts of pressure circuit and secondary brake circuit (11) from tandem master brake cylinder	Risk of confusion! Before unscrewing, mark the brake line in relation to the appropriate connection. Plug connections with blind plugs to prevent brake fluid flowing out.

17	Disconnect connector from brake fluid reservoir (12).
18	Disconnect vacuum line (13) from BAS brake booster (A7/7).
19	Disconnect EPS pressure sensor connector (14).
20	Take out BAS brake booster (A7/7)	Installation: Do not damage boot when installing BAS brake booster (A7/7) as this will cause leaks. Installation: Install new gasket
21	Remove nuts (17) from tandem brake master cylinder.	Check rear primary piston of tandem brake master cylinder for leaks. Installation: Install new O-ring.

22	Install in the reverse order
23	Bleed brake system		AR42.10-P-0010GZ
	Checking
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 	Risk of death caused by body parts being pulled in by rotating vehicle wheels and roller dynamometer rollers	Do not insert your hand into rotating parts. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
