Step 2

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Remove end cover (2)	Installation: The end cover (2) must be replaced as the crankshaft radial sealing ring (3) is vulcanized into the end cover (2) and otherwise, there is leakage. Installation: Instructions in notes on sealant application and on correct installation of the end cover (2) must be strictly observed.
