Remove water from fuel system water separator - AP47.20-P-0794A

REMOVING Removing    
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects. Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
1 Turn key in ignition lock to position "0"    
2 Remove upper engine cover   AR01.10-P-2405GZB
3.1 Fit hose to screw plug (1) and release screw plug (1) Fuel filter with screw plug (1)
Only loosen screw plug (1), do not remove.
 
3.2 Remove plug (8) and fit hose to drain fitting Fuel filter with plug (8)  
4 Have a second person switch on ignition Leave ignition switched on until pure fuel flows.
Collect fuel in a suitable container.
 
5 Switch off ignition    
INSTALLING Installing     
6.1 Tighten screw plug (1) and detach hose from screw plug (1) Fuel filter with screw plug (1)  
6.2 Detach hose and fit plug (8) to drain fitting Fuel filter with plug (8)
Replace O-ring and plug (8)!
 
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns from working on the vehicle as it is being started or when the engine is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

7 Start engine and check fuel system for leaks Allow engine to run for at least 3 minutes.  
8 Reinstall engine cover Ignition switched off. AR01.10-P-2405GZB
