Remove/install engine mount - AR22.10-P-1100GZB: Notes

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, lift gates or sliding roof Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1.1 Removes strut tower brace Model 164.8 only
IMPORTANT Remove strut tower brace from strut tower mounts.		 AR62.30-P-2500GY
1.2 Remove partition wall between wheel wells Model 251 only AR62.30-P-2400RT
2 Remove engine trim panel Model 164 AR01.10-P-2405GZB

3 Remove left and right engine intake air ducts    
  Right hand engine mount     
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
4 Disconnect ground line at battery NOTES Insulate clamping device of the ground line in order to prevent inadvertent contact with the ground point of the battery.

8 Unclip electrical connector at engine mount shield (2)    
9 Remove bolt (4) from right engine mount (1) from above TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 164 *BA22.10-P-1002-03G

10 Remove engine mount shield (2) from above IMPORTANTInstallation:  Pay attention to anti-twist lock (6) at engine support.  
11 Remove bolt (11) from left engine mount (9). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 164 *BA22.10-P-1002-03G 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 251 *BA22.10-P-1002-03F 
12 Mount engine lifting device and raise engine Model 164 AR33.10-P-0100-01GZ

IMPORTANT Pay attention when lifting out engine that no lines are damaged and that the engine does not lean against partition wall.
IMPORTANT Observe manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.		 AR33.10-P-0100-01RT

13 Remove bottom section of soundproofing Model 164 AR94.30-P-5300GZ

14 Remove starter shield (3) IMPORTANT If installed. AR15.30-P-7100GZB
15 Remove bolts (7) for hose clamps of automatic transmission oil lines (8) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA27.55-P-1004-01D 
16 Remove bolts (5) from right engine mount (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 164 *BA22.10-P-1001-03G 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 251 *BA22.10-P-1001-03F 
17 Take right engine mount (1) down and out IMPORTANTInstallation:  Pay attention to anti-twist lock (6) at engine support.
IMPORTANT Observe environmental protection regulations for disposal of right engine mounts (1); give right engine mount (1) to mixed scrap metal.		  
  Left engine mount     
18 Mount engine lifting device and raise engine Model 164 AR33.10-P-0100-01GZ
Model 251
IMPORTANT Pay attention when lifting out engine that no lines are damaged and that the engine does not lean against partition wall.
IMPORTANT Observe manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.		 AR33.10-P-0100-01RT

21 Remove engine mount shield (10) from below IMPORTANT If installed.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Pay attention to anti-twist lock (13) at engine support.		  
22 Remove bolts (5) from right engine mount (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 164 *BA22.10-P-1001-03G 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 251 *BA22.10-P-1001-03F 
23 Remove bolts (12) from left engine mount (9) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 164 *BA22.10-P-1001-03G 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 251 *BA22.10-P-1001-03F 
24 Remove left engine mount (9) downwards IMPORTANTInstallation:  Pay attention to anti-twist lock (13) at engine support.
IMPORTANT Observe environmental protection regulations for disposal of left engine mounts (9); give left engine mount (9) to mixed scrap metal.		  
25 Install in the reverse order
