Replace shock absorber mount on lower wishbone, Front axle - AR32.25-P-0107GZ

11.7.06 Nut, link rod to stabilizer bar   *BA32.20-P-1004-02L 
6.9.06 Nut, link rod to stabilizer bar   *BA32.20-P-1004-02L 
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Lift vehicle with two-post lift IMPORTANT Raise vehicle far enough until the wheels are clear of the ground. AR00.60-P-1000GZ
2 Deflate air spring using the STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system IMPORTANT Only vehicles with AIRmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and Adaptive Damping System ADS), code 489.
IMPORTANT Only deflate air springs, on which the shock absorber mounts are to be removed.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Before inflating the air springs start the engine and allow engine to run during inflation process.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure air suspension system does not leak.
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
3 Lift vehicle with two-post lift IMPORTANTInstallation:  Lower vehicles far enough to enable the wheels to be easily accessible. AR00.60-P-1000GZ
4 Undo bolted connection (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.25-P-1002-01G 
5 Undo nut (2) and detach link rod from stabilizer bar TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.20-P-1004-02L 
6 Press lower transverse control arm (3) downwards IMPORTANT Press lower transverse control arm (3) far enough down to enable access to the shock absorber mount.  
7 Press out rubber mount (4). IMPORTANTRemoval:  To press out use the individual parts marked with A and E on the of the removal/insertion tool (5). Press the rubber mount (4) out forwards.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  To press in use the individual parts marked with C and D and the threaded ball from the removal/insertion tool (5). Press in the rubber bushing (4) from the front.
NOTES During installation the compression on the hand pump must not exceed 140 bar as otherwise the bearing may be damaged.

8 Install in the reverse order
