Drive position display 

The current drive position is displayed in the multifunction display (A1p13) in the instrument cluster (A1).

The drive position (P, R, N, D) of the 7-speed automatic transmission (code 427) (NAG2) selected by the intelligent servo module control unit for DIRECT SELECT (A80) is shown on this display.

Transmission mode display 

The transmission mode Comfort "C" or Sport "S" and the current gear (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, D) are shown by the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) control unit (Y3/8n4) in the multifunction display (A1p13).

The gear indicator and the transmission mode display appear after "circuit 15 ON".

The necessary data come via the engine compartment CAN.

The display remains blank if there are errors in the CAN signals.
