	Remove/install
	Notes on repairs to brake system		AH42.00-P-0003-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Release parking brake	Only if removing brake disk (3) at the rear axle.
2	Detach floating caliper carrier from upright or wheel carrier	Remove/install floating brake caliper of front axle.	AR42.10-P-0070GZ
		Remove/install floating brake caliper of rear axle.	AR42.10-P-0080GZ
3	Unscrew locking bolt (2) and remove brake disk (3)	When removing the brake disk (3) on the rear axle: with run in parking brake drums first turn back the parking brake adjusting mechanism, otherwise the parking brake shoes will be damaged:
		See Adjust parking brake. Installation:  Always replace the brake disks (3) in pairs. Grease the snug fit of the brake disk (3) lightly with MB long-life grease. Replace locking bolt (2). After installing brake disk (3) on the rear axle: ↓	AR42.20-P-0540GZ

	Checking
4	Check brake disk (3)
	Inspect condition of brake disks		AP42.10-P-4258GZ
5	Check parking brake shoes	After removing the brake disk (3) from the rear axle. Check lining thickness and condition, if necessary: ↓
		Replace parking brake shoe.	AR42.20-P-0530GZ
6	Install in the reverse order
