Task
- Conducting exhaust gases with a low backpressure to the rear of the vehicle
- Muffling the noises of the exhaust gases
- Exhaust cleaning through catalytic converters
Body
The exhaust system consists of:
- Primary catalytic converter
- Oxidation catalytic converter
- Rear muffler
Function
The exhaust gases are guided, cleaned and fed through the through the primary catalytic converter and oxidation catalytic converter and then through the rear muffler for sound dampening.
