		Model 251 Insulate ground line clamp as a protection against unintentional contact of ground line with ground point of battery. Vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. 10	Remove electrical wiring harness retaining clamp (3) from oil dipstick guide tube (5)	Only for vehicles with 4MATIC
11	Remove retaining plate (8) bolt		*BA01.45-P-1006-01M
12	Remove oil dipstick guide tube (5) to the top	Installation: Replace sealing ring (7) on oil dipstick guide tube (5). When installing oil dipstick guide tube (5), make sure sealing ring (7) is not pressed into the oil pan.
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Check engine oil level approx. 5 minutes after switching off engine (after reaching operating temperature), if required adjust to correct level	The vehicle must be on a level surface, otherwise false measurements will occur.
15	Carry out an engine test run and check the engine for leaks
16	Read out fault memory and erase if necessary	Faults which may have been caused by disconnecting wires or by a simulation must be erased in the fault memory after completing the work. STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system
