	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush  or, in extreme cases, even sever  extremities	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A

1.1	Remove plastic connecting piece between rear bottom section of soundproofing and engine crossmember	Vehicles with diesel engine.
1.2	Remove plastic connecting piece between rear section of under-ride guard and engine crossmember	Vehicles with offroad package, code 430.
2	Remove diagonal strut from right-hand side of rear engine crossmember	All except vehicles with engine 642.

3	Remove cross strut from left-hand side of rear engine crossmember	All except vehicles with engine 642.

4	Support rear of engine crossmember and detach from under-floor	All except vehicles with engine 642.

5	Lower transfer case slightly	All except vehicles with engine 642.
6	Mark position of propeller shaft (1) relative to flange of front axle gear and relative to flange of transfer case.	In order to be able to reproduce the plant installation position when installing.
7	Remove bolts (2) from transfer case	Installation:  It is absolutely essential to observe tightening procedure otherwise noise can develop and vibrations can occur. Installation:  Pay attention to cleanliness of the contact surfaces, if necessary clean the contact surfaces of the bolts (2).	AR41.10-P-0070-03GZ

9	Remove propeller shaft (1) downward	Installation:  Make sure that the installation direction of the propeller shaft (1) is correct.
	Checking
10	Check constant velocity joint and double cardan U-joint for wear and damage	If necessary, replace propeller shaft (1).
11	Install in the reverse order
