	Vacuum check valve, location	The check valve is located in the vacuum line between the intake manifold and air pump switchover valve (Y32).
	Vacuum check valve, task	The check valve ensures that the vacuum develops or remains in the air pump switchover valve. Thus actuation of the air shutoff valves by means of vacuum is guaranteed under all operating conditions.
	Vacuum check valve, design	The check valve consists of a membrane in a close plastic housing.
	Vacuum check valve, function	The diaphragm (c) is opened by means of the vacuum in the intake manifold and the air in the air pump switchover valve is suctioned into the intake manifold. If there is no vacuum in the intake manifold relative to the air pump switchover valve then the diaphragm prevents air flowing in from the intake manifold.
