| 2 | Pry off dust cap (45) | ||

| 3 | Insert the metal segment (040) into the fixed brake caliper, and then carefully press out the piston (47) as far as the stop using compressed air | ||
| 4 | Remove piston (47) with piston-rotating pliers (020) | Fig 3 | |
| 5 | Check piston (47) and bore in the fixed brake caliper for damage, replace fixed brake caliper if necessary | Test values for front wheel fixed caliper | *BE42.10-P-1001-01E |

| 6 | Remove piston seal (50) from groove in cylinder bore. | ||
| 7 | Assemble in the reverse order | ||
