	Stop lamp switch, location	The stop lamp switch is attached on top of the brake pedal.
	Stop lamp switch, task	The Stop lamp switch provides the signal about the actuation of the brake pedal.
	Stop lamp switch, function	The N.O. contact (1) forwards the signal for brake pedal actuation to the stop lamps (stop lamp switch-on) The opener contact (2) gives the signal about brake actuation to the ESP control unit or ESP, SPS and BAS control unit (N47-5), which then transmits the signal on further via the CAN data bus.
