Energy management, function - GF54.10-P-0003G
MODEL 463.237 /271 up to 31.5.12 as of Model Year 2010 /YoM 09
Function requirements, general
- Circuit 15R
- Socket microswitch in 115 V socket is closed (115 V consumer inserted)
- Electrical output supplied is less than or equal to the permissible continuous electrical output (P= 150 W)
- Temperature inside DC/AC converter control unit is within the permissible temperature range
- Input voltage lies within the permissible voltage range U < 11.5 V and U < 16.0 V
- After t = 2 s, the output load is P < 150 W
DC/AC converter, general
The rear signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) controls the operation of the DC/AC converter control unit. If the function requirements are met, a 12 V control signal is sent via the socket microswitch in the 115 V socket to the control input of the DC/AC converter control unit.
The socket microswitch integrated into the 115 V socket is only closed when a 115 V connector is inserted.
This socket microswitch then actuates the DC/AC converter control unit, which converts the on-board electrical system DC voltage to a
115 V AC voltage. An LED integrated into the 115 V socket indicates the availability of AC voltage.
Appropriate small 115 V devices can be connected (e.g. video game consoles, mobile phone chargers). The maximum continuous electrical load which can be supplied is P = 150 W.
If the temperature moves outside the permissible temperature range or the output load reaches the overload limit of P = 150 W, the DC/AC converter switches off.
A hysteresis algorithm in the DC/AC converter control unit prevents the converter from constantly switching between ON and OFF if the system is near the respective limit value.
