Hydraulic limiter, basic setting - AR46.25-P-3090-01F
- Undo bolt (2) on steering gear and remove locking plate (3).
- Turn steering limiter valve (1) all the way in to the steering gear housing.
- Turn out the steering limiter valve (1) for the steering gear 765.503 by one turn, for steering gear 765.502 by one and a half turns.
The steering limiter valve (1) is pressurized and - when the engine is running - must never be turned through more than two turns, as otherwise hot, highly pressurized steering gear oil may escape.
- Mount locking plate (3) and turn in bolt (2).
