Prepare test without quiescent current retention unit - AR54.10-P-1030-02GX

Slacken nut of negative terminal at battery.
Do not detach the negative terminal clamp.
Connect positive (+) terminal of measurement cable (6) to negative terminal clamp of line (1).
Switch on digital multimeter in the highest measuring range "amp(s) direct current".

Carefully pull negative terminal clamp on battery upward and, when doing so, connect negative (-) terminal of measurement cable (6) to negative terminal (3) underneath negative terminal clamp.
Do not break the circuit when detaching the negative terminal clip otherwise any existing faults will be erased. Do not fully detach the negative terminal clamp until the negative (-) terminal of the measurement cable (6) has been securely attached to the negative terminal (3).
