	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line	All except model 463.236/248 with code (979) Special protection version.	AR54.10-P-0003G

3.2	Remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	On model 463.247/248/254/270/271/303/340/341 as of 2.4.07, Model 463.249 as of 1.9.06, model 463.202/222/236/237 Model 463.306/336/346 The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) is only fixed with one screw from above and is plugged in. Installation:  The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) must engage audibly.
4	Disconnect electrical connectors
5	Remove bolts (2) and remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1)
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Read out fault memory and erase	STAR DIAGNOSIS Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
