Location 

The COMAND operating, display and controller unit is located in the 2-DIN installation opening in the center console.

Design 

The following components are integrated in the COMAND operating, display and controller unit:

• Graphics and video capable 6.5" color display
• Multistandard drive for audio CD and MP3-CD-ROM
• Operating unit for controlling the audio, navigation and telematics functions
• Central computer
