System concept for the information service 

The vehicle operator determines his own interest profile relating to service information such as world news and stock exchange data and conveys this desired information to the Mercedes Benz customer service. The Service Operation Center is notified of this profile.

The driver has the option of sending an update request of service information to the Service Operating Center via the SVC button (on the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3)).

This customer profile is used in the Service Operation Center to select information. The requested information is composed by the information provider and sent to the vehicle by the Service Operation Center.

The data transmitted appear on the display of the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3).
