| 1 | Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit | ||
| 2 | Remove trunk floor covering from trunk. | ||
| 3 | Remove spare tire cover or spare tire well trim panel from trunk | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector from battery sensor | On vehicles as of 1.6.06. | |
| 5 | Loosen nut (2) and remove ground line (1) from battery (G1) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
