- Transfer separation points from vehicle to new part and cut (areas A, B, K and S).
Observe reinforcement (areas A and B).
- Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas T and U).
- Remove remaining pieces.
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
- Transfer separation points form vehicle to new part and cut (area F).
Do not damage pipe.
- Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (area J).
Use drill for high-tensile strength steel
- Remove remaining piece
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
- Transfer separation points from vehicle to new part and cut (areas O and P).
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
- Transfer separation points to new part with templates and cut (areas E and Q).
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides 16
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
