- Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas A to D).
- Grind out welds (areas E to J).
- Remove center roof paneling.

Front view
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot welding flanges to bare metal on both sides
- Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
