  1. Attach cup suction tool on rear window (c).

    Suction lifting device

    gotis://K_67.0_03.0 

  2. Place rear window (c) on body flange (b) with aid of helper.
  3. Align rear window (c) in body opening.

    IMPORTANT Adjust distance dimension (A) with the aid of the SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge

    On model 197.3 and model 230.4 with code (P99) Special model "AMG Black Series" the rear window (c) is not adjusted with the feeler gauge SPECIAL TOOL but with the help of an assistant is aligned centrally and parallel with the body opening.

  4. Glue on strips of tape (arrows) at top and side.
  1. 5.1 On model 203.0, 207.3, 209.3, 211.0, 212.0/1, 218.3 ad 230.4 cut adhesive strips (arrows) at outer edge of rear window.

    IMPORTANT Do not remove strips of adhesive tape (arrows).

  2. 5.2 On model 197.3 cut through the adhesive tape strips (arrows) at transition of the rubber seal of the rear window to the body flange.
  3. 6 Remove rear wall window from vehicle
