Adjust front door - AR72.10-P-0550T

INSPECT Inspecting, setting    
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Remove locking eye (1)    
2 Check gap dimension between front door and A-pillar (D), gap dimension between front door and fender (E), gap dimension between front door and rear door (F) and gap dimension between front door and roof (G) on door all the way around IMPORTANT Check gap dimension between front door and rear door (F) only on model 211.0 and 211.2. *BE60.00-P-1002-01F 
    SPECIAL TOOL Feeler gauge Fig 2
3 Loosen bolts on A-pillar (3) and gap dimension between front door and A-pillar (D), gap dimension between front door and fender (E), gap dimension between front door and rear door (F) and gap dimension between front door and roof (G) by moving front door IMPORTANT Adjust gap dimension between front door and rear door (F) only on model 211.0 and 211.2. *BE60.00-P-1002-01F 
    SPECIAL TOOL Feeler gauge Fig 2
4 Tighten A-pillar screws (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.10-P-1004-01AB 
5 Loosen bolts on inner door panel (4) and adjust transition between front fender and front door by moving front door. IMPORTANT The contour of the front fender must be flush with the door paneling or protrude max. 1 mm.  
6 Tighten inner door panel screws (4) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.10-P-1003-01AB 
7 Install locking eye (1) IMPORTANT Do not tighten down the bolts (2).  
8 Completely close front door and adjust transition between front door and rear door or in relation to B-pillar by moving locking eye (1) IMPORTANT Contour of front door should be flush with contour of rear door or B-pillar and should not protrude more than 1 mm.  
9 Tighten bolts (2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.10-P-1006-01AB 
TEST VALUES FOR GAP DIMENSIONS ON HOODS, DOORS AND LIDS
