| 2 | Remove expansion clips (4) | ||
| 3 | Remove hinge lever passage frame (5) | ||
| 4 | Release left or right side luggage compartment lining until left taillamp (E3) or right taillamp (E4) is accessible | ||
| 5.1 | Remove bracket (1) with pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control (M40/1) from retainer and place to one side | Only when removing left taillamp (E3) on vehicles with code (433) Left dynamic seat, incl. multicontour seat or with code (434) Right dynamic seat, incl. multicontour seat. | |
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
| 7 | Remove nuts (3) and remove left taillamp (E3) or right taillamp (E4) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
