	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it at a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Remove expansion clips (1)
3	Remove lashing eyes (2)
4	Remove paneling (3)	Installation:  Check that spacer rings (9) are correctly seated under the lashing hook (2).
5	Remove bolts (4)
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (5)	When removing the amplifier for sound system (N40/3).
7	Separate electrical connectors (6)	When removing the subwoofer amplifier (N40/9).
8	Detach electrical wiring harnesses (7) from subwoofer amplifier (N40/9)	When removing the subwoofer amplifier (N40/9).
9	Remove subwoofer amplifier (N40/9) or sound system amplifier (N40/3) from the carrier plate (8)	When replacing the sound system amplifier (N40/3) or the subwoofer amplifier (N40/9).
10	Install in the reverse order
