3	Place COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) onto an electrostatic discharge (ESD) workstation	Otherwise damage may occur to the electronics of the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) or the hard disk (2). ESD protection gotis://E_82_04.0
4	Remove bolts (1)
5	Remove hard disk (2) upwards (arrow)	Avoid touching the conductor tracks on the circuit board, as otherwise damage may occur to the electronics of the hard disk (2) or to the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3).
6	Install in the reverse order
