The wiper system may only be adjusted if the test values of wiper arms deviate from the tolerance range in park position.
Install angle gauge (A) to driver-side wiper arm (1).
- Open hood.

- Loosen rubber seal (2) in the left area.
- Loosen wiring harness bracket (3) from the partition wall (4) and put wiring harness down on one side.
- Remove expansion clip (5).
Insert mounting wedge (6) between water collector (7) and partition wall (4).
- Loosen bolt (8).
Attach pulling hook (9) at wiper system bracket and move it horizontally until the correct adjustment value is shown on the dial of the
angle gauge (A).
- Tighten screw (8).
Remove mounting wedge (6) and
pulling hook (9).
- Install expansion clip (5).
Replace damaged expansion clip (5).
- Fasten wiring harness bracket (3) and rubber seal (2) at partition wall (4).
Ensure that the sealing rings (2) are correctly seated.
- Close hood.
Remove angle gauge (A) from driver-side wiper arm (1).
