Retrofit MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness - AN82.61-P-0001-06TAF
- Push the catch hook (arrow A) of ordered Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) fiber optic cable (8) outward a little and pull the black 2-pin MOST coupling (14) out of the MOST coupling housing (11).
- Remove blue retaining clip (15) from black 2-pin MOST coupling (14).
It must be ensured that the fiber optic cable (MOST) (8) is installed in contact cavity 1 (input) (arrow B). If this is not the case, insert fiber optic cable (MOST) (8) from contact cavity 2 into contact cavity 1.
- Remove MOST coupling of on-board fiber optic cable (MOST) (7) from black 6-pin coupling housing (9) of auto pilot system wiring harness (1).
- Remove blue retaining clip (15) from black 2-pin MOST coupling (13).
- Release catch hook and remove fiber optic cable (MOST) (7) from contact cavity 2 (output) (arrow B) of black 2-pin MOST coupling (13).
- Install fiber optic cable (MOST) (7) in contact cavity 2 (output) of black 2-pin MOST coupling (14).
- Install blue retaining clip (15) into the black 2-pin MOST coupling (14).
- Clip black 2-pin MOST coupling (14) into MOST coupling housing (11).
MOST coupling (11) is connected later to the CD changer. Wrap felt tape around on-board MOST coupling (no longer required) for CD changer and strap down in center console.
- Insert free end of fiber optic cable (MOST) (8) into contact cavity 2 (output) (arrow B) of black 2-pin MOST coupling (13).
- Install blue retaining clip (15) into the black 2-pin MOST coupling (13).
- Install MOST coupling (13) of fiber optic cable (MOST) (7) in black 6-pin coupling housing (9) of auto pilot system wiring harness (1).
