	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by high voltage levels present at xenon headlamps. Risk of explosion/risk of fire due to highly flammable materials in the area of damaged xenon bulbs Risk of injury from UV light, hot components at xenon headlamps and glass splinters when xenon bulbs crack Risk of poisoning from inhaling mercury vapors and from swallowing/skin contact with poisonous salts and mercury compounds	Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off entire lighting system. Wear insulating safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure the work area is adequately ventilated.	AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Rotate cover (1) of left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) counterclockwise and remove	Installation: Ensure cover (1) is correctly seated.
2	Disconnect electrical connector (2) from xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2)
3	Rotate xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2) counterclockwise and carefully pull out together with left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2)	Do not touch the left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2) glass bulb with bare fingers. Handle using a soft, clean cloth instead. Otherwise the left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2) may become soiled, which in turn may cause malfunctions later on. The left low beam (E1e2) or right low beam (E2e2) and the xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2) form a single unit and can only be replaced together.
4	Install in the reverse order
