Remove, install the tumble flap and resonance flap switchover valve at the intake manifold - AR09.20-P-1990TS

ENGINE 272, 273 (except 272.985) in MODEL 211, 219

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch ignition off, remove ignition key (transmitter key). IMPORTANT On vehicles with code 889 Keyless Go: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.
Remove Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
 
2 Remove air filter housing   AR09.10-P-1150TS 
3 Remove resonance intake manifold   AR09.20-P-1961TS 
4 Pull pneumatic lines (1 or 2) out of switchover valve (Y22/6 or Y22/9) NOTES Never use pointed or sharp tools to remove the pneumatic lines (1 or 2), otherwise these may be damaged.
INSPECTInstallation:  Check pneumatic lines (1 or 2) for damage and replace if necessary.
 
5 Remove lock washer (3 or 4) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Replace lock washer (3 or 4).  
6 Disconnect the electrical connector (X205) at the switchover valve (Y22/6 or Y22/9)    
7 Remove switchover valve (Y22/6 or Y22/9) from resonance intake manifold    
8 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Checking     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

9 Carry out an engine test run and check the intake tract and fuel system for leaks
