	Removing
1	Position seat toward front and move rear seat surface upward
2	Remove cover (1) from front seat with assembly wedge (9)		*110589035900
3	Remove the screw (2) and remove belt end fitting
4	Remove edge guard (3) in area of B-pillar paneling (8) on both sides
5.1	Remove air intake grate (4) from B-pillar paneling (8)	On vehicles with code (581b) convenience automatic air conditioning
6	Remove front door sill trim (10) and rear door sill trim (11)	Lift front door sill trim (10) and rear door sill trim (11) out toward B-pillar paneling (8)
7	Press B-pillar paneling (8) off of clips (5, 6) and B-pillar with assembly wedge		*110589035900
8	Move seat belt (7) through B-pillar paneling (8)
9	Remove clips (5) from B-pillar		*110589035900
10	Remove clips (6) from B-pillar paneling (8)
	Install
11	Insert clips (6) into B-pillar
12	Insert clips (5) into B-pillar paneling (8)
13	Move seat belt (7) through B-pillar paneling (8)
14	Clip B-pillar paneling (8) into B-pillar	The bolt (13) should be inserted into the mount (12) and the button (14) into the locking pawl (15). Ensure that clips (5, 6) are seated correctly.
15	Check seat belt height adjustment at B-pillar for proper function	It should be possible to adjust and arrest the belt height adjustment.
16	Install front door sill trim (10) and rear door sill trim (11)
17.1	Insert air intake grate (4) into B-pillar paneling (8)	On vehicles with code (581b) convenience automatic air conditioning
18	Install edge guard (3) on B-pillar on both sides
19	Insert belt end fitting and tighten with bolt (2) to front seat		*BA91.40-P-1001-01A
20	Install covering (1)
