Remove/install main audio components - AR82.60-P-7605TA

MODEL 211.2/6 up to 1.6.08 except CODE (809) Model year 2009 

Shown on model 211.2 with code (890) EASY-PACK liftgate

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1 Remove left interior trim from side of load compartment Model 211.2 AR68.30-P-1180T
1.2 Remove existing paneling on left side of load compartment until the audio gateway control unit (N93/1) is accessible Model 211.6
IMPORTANT Whether paneling exists or what paneling version is used depends on the vehicle equipment.
 
2 Remove left side trim in rear passenger compartment With model 211.2 with code (890) EASY-PACK liftgate AR68.30-P-4780T
3 Unscrew nuts (1)    
4 Remove hydraulic unit housing (2) and place to one side With model 211.2 with code (890) EASY-PACK liftgate  
5 Disconnect electric connectors (3) from audio gateway control unit (N93/1)    
6 Disconnect fiber optic cable connector (4) from audio gateway control unit (N93/1) NOTES To avoid damaging the fiber optic cable, do not kink fiber optic cable, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.  
7 Cover fiber optic cable   AR82.95-P-0005-01A 
8 Unscrew nut (5)    
9 Slide bracket (6) with audio gateway control unit (N93/1) backwards until the nuts (7) are accessible    
10 Unscrew nuts (7)    
11 Push bracket (6) to one side and slide the audio gateway control unit (N93/1) backwards until the electrical connectors (8) are accessible    
12 Disconnect electric connectors (8) from audio gateway control unit (N93/1)    
13 Remove audio gateway control unit (N93/1) from side wall towards the rear    
14 Install in the reverse order
