Location
The charge air cooler is located at the front below the water cooler.
Design
The charge air cooler consists of 2 lateral air intake case with connections and the radiator block, which holds the corrugated tube system.
Function
The charge air heated during the charge process is fed through the charge air cooler. The air flow during driving mode, which flows through the corrugated tube system, cools the charge air down. The fill level in the cylinder is increased by the cooled down charge air.
