- Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- Pull dipstick out of guide tube and clean.
In order to avoid measurement errors, vehicle must be parked on an even surface.
- Insert dipstick fully and leave in this position for at least 3 seconds.
- Pull dipstick out of guide tube and read off oil level; fill with oil as required up to the "Max" mark.
